The NLC has called on the government to find alternative solutions and provide palliatives to ease the burden on Nigerians. The Police Force had emphasized the importance of peaceful protests and acknowledged the grievances raised by the labor unions. They ordered the Commissioners of Police and other leaders to engage in discussions with the NLC/TUC leadership to find common ground. The police assured citizens of their commitment to maintaining law and order while protecting lives and property. Despite the security measures, the protesters managed to break into the national assembly complex by pulling down the locked gate. They chanted solidarity songs during the demonstration.

It is evident that the protesters were determined to make their voices heard despite police warnings. The government needs to address their concerns through constructive dialogue and find effective solutions. The NLC and other civil society groups should embrace peaceful discussions for the betterment of the country.
