Post Malone is set to perform at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, alongside other American artists. The pregame entertainment will feature Usher and the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime show, with Reba McEntire singing the National Anthem, Post Malone performing “America the Beautiful,” and Andra Day singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Emmy-winning musical director/producer Adam Blackstone will produce and arrange the National Anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Reba McEntire’s performance at the Super Bowl will mark 50 years since she was discovered while singing the National Anthem at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma. McEntire expressed her excitement about the upcoming performance, stating, “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary.”
“I’m literally speaking to every woman. I want to make it feel like that,” the singer said of his goal to make provide an intimate, steamy show in the 65,000-capacity stadium.
“I want the world to smile when they look at me. I want them to feel something, and feel my passion, my admire, feel like I was the right person to sit in this position, and I was the right person to bring this kind of energy and admire and connection to the entire world.”
The details of the show have not been revealed, but Usher has promised to showcase his signature dance moves and roller skating skills, as well as a costume change and special guests.
The Super Bowl LVIII will be held on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
