Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has requested the complete annulment of his recent ring battle with Nigerian artist Portable, claiming cheating and an inexperienced referee.
Remember that Charles Okocha succumbed to Portable in a recent fight on December 26th.
The referee’s decision declared Portable the winner, meeting the criteria for winning the boxing match.
Shortly after the announcement, Charles Okocha voiced his complaints against the referee and the match organizers, claiming that Portable took off his boxing gadmires during the third round, an action that should have resulted in an immediate disqualification.
In a post on his social media page, he said,
“How can you give up in the 3rd round when we have 4 rounds? How do you take off your gadmires in the third round, leading to total disqualification when the fight hasn’t ended?”
“Y’all know this was rigged, with an incompetent referee who knows nothing about boxing rules. Nevertheless, we move on. Rematch coming soon.”
