Singer Dammy Krane has once again accused Davido of owing him money and refusing to pay. In a post on social media, Dammy Krane pleaded with Davido to settle the debt, citing his daughter’s school fees as a reason. He also mentioned that Davido took an artist from his record label without compensation. This is not the first time Dammy Krane has accused Davido of not paying for his songwriting contributions.
Singer Oyindamola Emmanuel, known as Dammy Krane, has once again claimed that David Adeleke, also known as Davido, owes him money and is unwilling to settle the debt.
In a post made on X (formerly Twitter) early on Tuesday, Dammy Krane stated that Davido should pay him for the sake of his (Dammy Krane’s) daughter.
Dammy Krane pleaded with Davido, writing, “I know it may be difficult for wealthy individuals to repay debts, but Davido, please pay me for the sake of my daughter. School fees are not easy to handle in Nigeria now, as everyone is trying to secure their future. All we want is money, not trouble.”
He also added, “Let’s not forget that Davido took Idowest from my record label. I didn’t speak up because I saw you as a brother, and I didn’t drag the artiste because I had already done my part to help him. I genuinely want to know why you don’t want to pay me for a song you tweeted that I wrote.”
In September 2022, Dammy Krane publicly accused Davido of refusing to pay for his songwriting contribution to a previously released track, even after privately reaching out to the DMW boss.
