Nigerian Afrobeat artist Davido made history by shutting down the O2 Arena in London for the second time on March 5, 2022. His energetic performance was memorable and featured appearances by top-notch stars including Adekunle Gold, Teni, Pheelz, Reekado Banks, Zlatan Ibile, and Victony. On 5th March 2022, David Adeleke, known as Davido, made history with his thrilling concert at the O2 Arena. This was the second time he shut down the O2 Arena with his energetic performance, creating a memorable experience. Before kicking off the show, one of Davido’s crew members, Isreal DMW, opened the concert with hypes and incantations that celebrated African culture and praised Davido’s influence in his life. The audience at the O2 Arena witnessed an iconic stage entrance as Davido’s sexy dancers captivated their attention with their impressive moves, setting the stage for Davido to make a grand entrance. Davido delighted his fans with a mix of his throwback hits such as ‘Gobe,’ ‘Dami Duro,’ and ‘Ekuro’ before showcasing his new music.

Davido’s concert at the O2 Arena also featured other top artists who added to the excitement of the event. Adekunle Gold, known for his hit song ‘High’ featuring Davido, delivered an electrifying performance that drew the crowd’s attention. Teni, a renowned female Afrobeat star, nearly brought down the O2 Arena with her energy while performing ‘For You’ with Davido. Pheelz, a fast-rising star, captivatingly presented his song ‘Finesse,’ and Reekado Banks, a former Mavin Record artist, nailed his performance of ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe.’ Zlatan Ibile, the street king, brought his signature rhythm and energy to the stage, and Victony, a talented artist who overcame a life-changing accident, showcased his vocal skills alongside Mayorkun in their hit song ‘Holy Father.’ All these artists contributed to the success of Davido’s second O2 Arena concert, proving their status as remarkable performers in the Afrobeat genre.
