Nigerian singer, Davido made a surprising appearance at his fan’s sister’s wedding and performed “Unavailable,” one of his hit songs.
Several videos of the event showed Davido singing passionately under the protection of his bodyguard.
The woman, whose sister received the surprise performance, shared on her social media page: “My sister’s wedding! He came straight from the airport to surprise her and her husband! Thank you @davido for honoring us last night!! May God continue to bless you always!!”
She also mentioned the process of inviting Davido to the event: “When I told @davido my sister was getting married and asked if he would surprise her and her husband, he said consider it done and asked for the date.”
“He mentioned he’d be in Dubai but committed to flying in straight from the airport, and indeed he did!”
“He consistently followed up to confirm the date and reassured me he would be there without any prompting. He said, ‘#TheHat, don’t worry, I got you.”
