Budding singer, Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, also known professionally as Fave, expresses her disappointment after Davido performed their song “Kante” but removed her verse during his New Year’s performance.
She took to her Twitter page to voice her feelings, revealing that she and Davido had been at the event together.
In her post, she mentioned hugging the singer backstage before his New Year performance began.
She found it disappointing to watch him perform their song ‘Kante’ without her verse.
Fave mentioned that performing with Davido would have been the highlight of her year, but acknowledges that life sometimes doesn’t go as planned.
“Started my new year with a huge surprise lol, hugging Davido backstage as he’s about to perform, only to watch him perform a new version of Kante with my verse taken off. It would have been a great way to start my year performing with you, but I guess life happens.
