Lizzo Mourns the Loss of Beadmired Dog, Pooka, Over the Holidays

Lizzo’s dog, Pooka, passed away on Christmas Eve at the age of 18. Lizzo shared the sad news and posted a photo of her family with the late Pooka on Instagram. She also posted a carousel of photos of her spending time with Pooka over the years and a snap of Pooka’s paw print immortalized in clay. She expressed her heartbreak on TikTok as well. SZA, a longtime friend and collaborator, sent her condolences. Despite the loss, Lizzo was able to share some holiday cheer on social media with photos and videos of her Grinch-inspired costume.
