Legendary singer, Wizkid reveals how life has lost its meaning for him following the death of his mother.
It should be noted that the Afrobeats singer’s mother passed away on the 18th of August, 2023.
The singer has not been himself since his mother’s passing.
At her funeral, Wizkid was visibly emotional and even shed tears as she was laid to rest.
Recently, he took to social media to confess that life has felt meaningless since her death.
However, Wizkid also expressed that he will continue on despite his feelings, and sometimes it’s important to let go of everything.
His exact words were…
“Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you got to let everything go… Work with God.”
