Popular singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, expressed his frustration over the economic challenges in Nigeria, particularly the soaring prices of petroleum products. He revealed that while he bought his first car years ago for N120,000, he now spends N3 million per month on diesel. He described the economic situation as “total madness” and showed empathy for the struggles faced by the less privileged. These comments were shared in Rudeboy’s Instagram story.
 

Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from the group Psquare, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current economic challenges in the country, particularly the increase in gasoline prices.

The artist, famous for his song ‘Reason With Me’, lamented that several years ago he purchased his first car for N120,000, but now he spends N3 million monthly on buying diesel.

Rudeboy took to his Instagram story to describe the economic situation as “total madness” and showed his empathy towards the struggles faced by the less privileged.

“I bought my first car for 120k naira years back and I was very proud of that… Now I spend 3m naira on diesel for just a month… Total madness. Only God knows what a common man is going through,” he wrote.
