Nigerians criticized the Grammy Awards for calling Wizkid an up-and-coming artist. The Grammy team made the statement on their official Instagram account which sparked angry reactions from fans. The post was eventually deleted and Wizkid did not respond to the controversy.
The Grammy Annual Award team has succumbed to pressure after Nigerians heavily dragged them for identifying their icon as an up-and-coming artiste.
This transpired recently after the Grammy Recording Academy’s official Instagram handle identified Wizkid alongside the likes of Ice Spice as a black upcoming artist everyone should put on their radar.

This didn’t likely digest well with Wizkid’s fans who dragged the award body to the filth thrusting them to act under pressure.
They were forced to delete the post sparking even more reactions from Nigerians.
The Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid however didn’t utter a single word as the saga continues to trail.
