An ex-coursemate of Nigerian singer, Shallipopi, has disclosed that the singer deleted their phone numbers after becoming famous because they were bothering him.
This revelation was made during an interview with content creator, @okaswiss, at Shallipopi’s event in Benin, his home state.
The coursemate, who attended Auchi Polytechnic, claimed that the musician was a popular figure during their school days and often skipped classes until exams.
When asked if he still had Shallipopi’s number, he replied in the negative, stating that the singer had blocked most of them.
He admitted that he understood Shallipopi’s actions as they had been bothering him since he gained fame.
He expressed excitement for Shallipopi’s progress and wished him all the best in his future endeavors.
