Nigerian singer, Tems and her manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, publicly confronted famous American producer, ATL Jacob, accusing him of being a liar.
Tems, who is not known for getting caught up in controversies and bullying due to her silence while growing up, surprised many with her outburst on social media.
She claimed that the producer lied about her not wanting to clear her original song, ‘Higher’, which led to the creation of their Grammy-winning song, ‘Wait for you’.
She also accused him of lying about Drake being the one to call her to clear the song and then saying at the Grammy Awards that she didn’t need to thank him for their win.
Her manager backed her up and suggested that people around the producer should evaluate his mental state as he may be a compulsive liar.
In response, ATL Jacob demanded evidence to support their claims, and Tems promised to double the money if he would stop lying about her.
ATL Jacob produced her Grammy-winning song, featuring American artists, Drake and Future.
