As a musician and lover of African music, I am beyond thrilled to have been given the chance to recreate one of the most iconic love songs in African music history – “African Queen“. The original track, sung by Fave and 2face, has been a timeless classic for years, capturing the essence of African love and romance.
Now, I am honored to be working alongside the incredibly talented Msaki, Nikita Kering, Ofentse Pitse, and an amazing 22-piece all-female orchestra. This collaboration is a celebration of African music, female empowerment, and the power of music to bring people together.
As we embark on this journey, I am excited to bring my own unique style and interpretation to the song, while staying true to its original message of love and unity. With each artist bringing their own flavor and flair to the table, I know that the end result will be nothing short of magical.
This project is more than just a musical collaboration – it is a celebration of African culture and creativity, and a reminder of the power of music to transcend borders and bring people together. I am super elated to be a part of it and can’t wait to share our version of “African Queen” with the world.
