The premiere of the Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro took place in Los Angeles on Tuesday (Dec. 12), during which director and actor Bradley Cooper met up with his A Star Is Born co-star Lady Gaga on the black carpet.

Cooper wore a stylish black three-piece suit, and Gaga also wore a black tailored suit with silver beaded elements. The two posed alone and with Cooper’s Maestro co-star Carey Mulligan and Cooper’s 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk. The Maestro premiere also marks Lea De Seine’s first red-carpet event.

“It means the world to me,” he told the outlet on Tuesday night. “Also because I’m really excited for her to see the movie. She’s a dear friend and we went through such an incredible experience together, so you just want to share the art with each other.”

A Star Is Born was Gaga’s first leading role. The 2018 film, also directed by Cooper, received eight Oscar nominations, including best actor for Cooper and best actress for Gaga, but only won the award for best original song for the movie’s hit duet “Shallow.”
