Doyin Amodu, an actor and movie producer, has launched a new movie project called ‘Ojo Ale’ with the aim of giving unsung heroes of Yoruba movies and plays a chance to showcase their acting skills. The project also aims to provide meaningful remuneration for Yoruba actors. Amodu, who serves as both the producer and director of the project, stated that it is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of elderly Nollywood veterans by addressing the issue of poverty in their community. The movie, directed by Amodu and mentored by Jide Kosoko, features a cast of veteran actors.

Amodu explained that “Ojo Ale” (Hope at Twilight) aims to empower Yoruba actors with meaningful remuneration.
In a statement released to Saturday Beats, Amodu expressed her passion for storytelling through the art of cinema. She also mentioned her dedication to making a difference in the lives of elderly Nollywood veterans by addressing poverty within their community.
‘Ojo Ale’ was directed by Amodu, who was mentored by veteran actor, Jide Kosoko. The cast includes Charles Olumo, Adebayo Salami, Ajere, Samson Folarin (Baba Kukute), Tubosun Odunsi, and Ebun Oloyede, among others.
