During an episode of a New York podcast, Gomez mentioned that she was a fan of Rema’s song “Runaway” before collaborating on “Calm down.” She praised Rema’s demeanor, humility, and gratitude for his success. Gomez also mentioned that Rema has had a significant impact on her life through his influence. She shared her admiration for him and expressed a desire to take care of him.
 

American singer and Actress, Selena Gomez has once again expressed her love for the Nigerian Afro-rave sensation, Rema in relation to their relationship so far.

During her appearance on the latest episode of the VA 100 of the New York podcast, she confessed her love for the ‘Spider man’ crooner and highlighted how delighted she is to witness his growth among his peers.

“And, I just couldn’t pick someone else who deserves all this success in the world. He is so kind. I don’t know, I just wanna like to take care of him [laughs].”
