Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has announced her backing for her colleague, Iyabo Ojo in the face of a Naira Marley lawsuit worth N500 million.
It should be remembered that Azeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, took Iyabo to court last Thursday.
He threatened to take legal action that could result in N500 million in damages unless the actress issued a public apology.
Naira has filed a lawsuit, alleging that the mother of two had slandered him by posting false and malicious information about him on her Instagram page.
Iyabo Ojo responded by filing a N1 billion counterclaim, alleging that the singer, through his lawyer, had not seen fit to personally serve her the lawsuit because it had already been shared online.
The actress, who is demanding N1 billion from the singer for knowingly deceiving the public, is calling this act blackmail.
Tonto declared her support for Iyabo on her Instagram page, saying they would fight it together. She expressed her support for her.
Tonto Dikeh wrote: “We started together, we end it together. Regardless”.
