Now that Christmas is over, Taylor Swift is looking to reclaim the top spot on the U.K. chart by the end of the week.

Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (via EMI) is currently leading the midweek U.K. chart, moving up from 2 to 1, and is projected to spend a fourth non-consecutive week at No. 1.

At the same time, ABBA’s Gold: Greatest Hits could climb back to No. 3, its highest chart position since 2008. The career retrospective has already spent a record-breaking 1,130 weeks on the Official Chart.

Noah Kahan’s Stick Season (Island) is also on the rise, expected to move from 8 to 6 for a new peak, with its track potentially reaching No. 1 on the national singles chart.

Other albums making gains based on midweek sales and streaming data from the OCC include collections from Fleetwood Mac (50 Years – Don’t Stop, moving up from 13 to 7 via Rhino), Michael Jackson (The Essential moving up from 26 to 18 via Epic), Post Malone’s (The Diamond Collection, up from 27 to 19 via Republic Records), and Elvis Presley (ELV1S: 30 #1 Hits, up from 48 to 35 via RCA).

Festive records are expected to drop down and out of the chart, including Michael Bublé’s Christmas (Reprise), which was at the top of the most recent tally published on Friday, December 29th.

All will be revealed when the Official U.K. Albums Chart is published this Friday, January 5th.
