Africa Magic, a Nigerian TV channel, has invited some of its viewers to tour its production studios in Lagos as part of its 20th anniversary celebration. The Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels for MultiChoice West Africa, Dr. Busola Tejumola, stated that the audience has been an integral part of Africa Magic’s journey and it was only natural to include them in the anniversary festivities. The studios have produced over 30,000 hours of content in the last two decades, and this opportunity allows some viewers to meet the people behind the magic on their screens. Africa Magic has grown from a single channel to seven channels since its launch in 2003.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Africa Magic has invited selected viewers to tour its production studios in Lagos on Tuesday.

According to Dr Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice West Africa, the audience has played a significant role in the success of Africa Magic over the past two decades, and it is only fitting to include them in the anniversary celebrations.

Tejumola stated, “Our two decades of indigenous storytelling would not have been possible without our audience. They are an integral part of the story we tell, and this celebration would not be complete without their participation.”

She further added, “These studios have produced over 30,000 hours of content that our audience has enjoyed. Therefore, we have decided to give a sample of our audience the opportunity to experience the studios and meet the creative minds responsible for the magic they see on their screens.”

Africa Magic was launched as a single channel in 2003 and has since expanded to a chain of seven channels within the last two decades, including Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, Africa Magic Family, Africa Magic Yoruba, Africa Magic Igbo, Africa Magic Hausa, and Africa Magic Epic.
