Nigerian artists Davido and Rema emerged as big winners at the 2023 Trace Awards held in Kigali, Rwanda. Rema won two awards, including “Song of the Year” for his hit record “Calm Down” and “Best Global African Artiste.” Davido took home two awards for “Best Male” and “Best Collaboration.” Burna Boy was awarded “Album of the Year” for his project “Love Damini.” The awards also recognized artists from various regions and genres, showcasing talent from Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond. The ceremony celebrated the diverse music scene and highlighted the achievements of artists from different parts of the world.
 

Nigerian artistes Davido and Rema were the big winners at the recently concluded 2023 Trace Awards held in Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday, October 21.

Rema received two awards; he won ‘Song of the year’ for his smash hit record ‘Calm Down’ and ‘Best Global African Artiste,’ alongside South African act Nomcebo Zikode.

Davido also received two awards, winning ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best Collaboration,’ while Burna Boy took home the Album of the Year award for his project ‘Love Damini.’
